Seek is a free app that nature lovers can use to help them identify plants, animals and other parts of Mother Nature. Developed by iNaturalist, the app has been described as the Shazam of nature.

Seek uses image recognition technology to identify plant and animal species. The app adds a competitive edge by allowing users to earn badges for the different birds, amphibians, plants and fungi that they find. The free app encourages users to go outside and learn about the natural world around them.

Shazam For Nature

How it works:

Open the app when you find an organism you want to identify.

Shazam and Freddy go into a strip club twice, once by themselves briefly and once with the entire sibling gang (the oldest sister is shown covering the eyes of the youngest sister, but the boys look pleased and dazed). The scenes are comedic in tone. In one case, Freddy asks Shazam. Feb 08, 2021 The Song Sleuth app was just released for iOS, with an Android version in the works for this fall, and it not only helps people become better birders by helping them identify birds by their songs.

Point the Seek Camera at the animal / plant and capture an image of it.

The app will identify what you have taken an image of, allowing you to earn badges.

There is also a facts feature that will inform you about the organism.
